Dear Friends,
Thank you for partnering with us in the advancement of God’s kingdom in Mexico! God is powerfully at work here, changing one life at a time in this humble Christ-centered ministry.
Meet Jirell. He is a sweet and tender-hearted boy, but he comes from a rough background. His mother was involved in prostitution, had several children from different men, and was put in prison for theft. Jirell started living with his real dad when she was incarcerated. He was very abusive to Jirell, and did not put him in school. He was miserable, and desperately wanted to escape. One day he was given $1.15 to buy tortillas and he thought, “Now’s my chance.” After a scary day riding the bus and wandering around Juarez City hungry, he finally located someone he knew. A few days later, he was brought to Rancho 3M with one of his half-brothers, Jamil.
At first, he was afraid that he would be beaten like the last two places he stayed. But soon he realized that Rancho 3M is a safe and loving home, and he was extremely grateful to be here. When we gave him a Bible with his name engraved on the front, he was very excited to read it, and he paid close attention in church. Shortly after, Jirell found his true refuge by putting his faith in Jesus Christ! “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalms 46:1
Jirell is attending our Christian school and doing very well academically. He is intelligent and has much potential to do great things with his life for the Lord. Recently, he asked my oldest son, Taylor, to teach him how to play the drums. Taylor said Jirell has been a fast learner and would not be surprised to see him playing with the Rancho 3M worship team one day.
Your partnership with Rancho3M is making it possible for at-risk children like Jirell to come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior and to glorify Him with their lives. Thank you!!!
By His grace,
